Hot property market and a hot sunny day in singapore

Well, well, well… I woke up today to a very bright and hot sunny day and its getting hotter every hour.

Weather in Singapore is as hot as the property market. I was told that it was due to the Singapore government’s recent policy of handing out PR to anyone applying for it and the influx of software engineers from India.

More and more people have started buying their own houses and more people are flowing in. As a result, the rentals have shot up by 100% in the last 2 years. Two years ago, a 3 bed room hdb apartment in the city’s hot spots cost about 900 SGDs but now it costs about 1600-2000 SGD. Its expected to last another 2-3 years.

Anyway, coming back to yourmitra, I am trying to get Singaporeans post ads in yourmitra and start using it. In the meantime i have also started thinking if i should look at new features for the website or focus my energies in getting traffic.

Confused at the moment, if any one reads this post and have any suggestions let me know. Would like to know if you, as a user, will be happy to use a website that provides what you want but there is no fancy UI or jazzy add-ons.
