Now you can reach realestate.yourmitra.com via rentals.yourmitra.com as well. This is more for convenience, I would want the user to type in as few characters as possible – realestate sounds a little too long.
Now more features have been added to the ads list page. Users can now filter the ads
1. based on the location similar to the current ad they are viewing. So if the user is looking at an ad placed for Bangalore, India or Yishun, singapore then he can filter on all ads in this region.
2. based on the category of the ad. If the user is looking at a house which is a available for sale then he can see all ads in this category
3. based on the user of the ad. User can see all ads placed by a particular user
These new features are meant to give the user the flexibility to view ads only for his choice. These ads are displayed from the recently added list so for all ads the user can still use the search functionality.
Malaysia Specific ads can also be seen from now onwards. Links for India and Singapore specific rental and property ads have been added sometime ago and I see the users using it.
Number of rental ads have now grown to 100 approx. so the site is growing well. Most of the rental ads have come from Singapore and Bangalore, India. I am trying to promote it so that we can cover the rentals from other Indian cities Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai and Calcutta.
